Smart streaming for actuaries

actuview is the first international streaming platform especially designed for actuaries. Insurance and finance experts can now find live broadcasts of national and international congresses and colloquia as well as online sessions across the entire spectrum of actuarial topics.

After the very successful realization of the Virtual ICA 2018, the platform was launched in March 2019 with many new functionalities and a modern design under a new name and with its own logo. In May 2021 and June 2024 the platform was relaunched new features and functions for the best user experience. Content is provided by actuarial associations, IAA Sections, universities, companies and other partner institutions, as well as by individual proven experts from around the world.

The platform has broad support by actuarial associations and stakeholders of the industry. The global reinsurer RGA is the central Sponsoring Partner of actuview. Thanks to the central partnership with the Actuarial Assocation of Europe (AAE), all European actuarial associations can join actuview as well. In addition, many further national associations as well as the IAA sections are Institutional Partners of actuview so that their members can register on actuview at no further cost. With the access to the actuview platform members of SAA are given the opportunity to learn and exchange, to share and connect.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

All actuaries are obliged to undertake continuous professional development and collect their annual CPD points to fulfil the SAA's CPD requirements. An effective and convenient way to do that without additional costs or travel time is by using the actuarial video platform actuview. SAA is part of the actuview community, providing access to the full archive of actuarial video content for all our members. This includes recordings from national and international highlight events, featuring associations from more than 50 different countries and partners from the insurance and finance industry. Dive into insightful interviews, engaging panel discussions and in-depth webinars covering all actuarial fields. If you are already registered on actuview, you can simply start watching whenever and wherever you want. The platform's automatic tracking feature will monitor your watch status for each video. Once you have watched at least 90% of a video, it will be listed in your CPD record. You can download this record from your user profile and submit it for CPD at our office.
